  1. Ok im thinking of getting myself a reserve, considering the mayday 20. My all up weight is 135kg and the mayday is rated for 160kg with a sink rate of 5.5 mtrs a second. What i want to know is because im under 160 will my decent rate be slower, if so then this is the reserve for me. The slower the better. Thanks Clive
  2. Have you got your motor back yet, winds are looking good at 1am sat morning. Ive got a mag lite straped to my motor!!
  3. I think Neilzy just got one for hes Birthday lucky boy !! We will have to ask him for a review.
  4. New video for ivariometer Thanks Clive
  5. For those of you that do not know him. The only safe equipment acording to him is a flat top or a k2. And if you fly a dudek or paramania, or anything else, you are going to kill yourself.!! Nothing wrong with a flat top or k2 but there is better gear out there.
  6. Just come across this i think it explains alot about why he behaves the way he does. Hes totaly freaking mad!!! "SuperDell" Dell Schanze is best known for his crazy antics during commercials for his Totally Awesome Computers chain of stores. When TAC went out of business, he drifted off into oblivion. However, he has returned! He is running for Governor of Utah. We think he's totally crazy
  7. You should also consider a dudek synthesis, thers a couple on ebay right now probably the safest wing on the market. With full refex and speed. But you cant go wrong , or will strugle to beat money wise Nigels wing. Got a medium apco thrust ppg/pg needing a home, 40 hours 850 quid. Nige Thanks Clive
  8. The thrust is perfect for you, you was looking at paragling not paramotor. Medium is 85-135 for paramotor this is from apco website. http://www.apcoaviation.com/products.as ... uct=thrust S M L XL Pilot Weight (all up) P/M [kg] 70-115 85.135 100-155 110-180 Pilot Weight (all up) P/G [kg] 65-85 80-100 95-120 110-140 Thanks hope this helps Clive
  9. Ha ha maybe next year for some spirals have not got the balls yet. Evenings are getting lighter so hopefully get lots of flying in this year, So i can practice some wing tip drags that would be freaking awesome man. Glad you all like the soundtrack its fatboyslim, gotta like the fatboy. Mat definitley fancy a xc somewhere, getting warmer dont want to freeze my wing nuts off. Planning on coming down to membury soon so hopefully see you down there Rigger. Many thanks Clive
  10. Mat i think you will find that you dont need to adjust for top end as it adjusts itself. (Kinda Auto if you like ) You only adjust for low rpm. And the cone shaped one is for idle. Thats the beauty of the w8 carb, very easy to adjust. Im pretty sure im right on this. Thanks Clive
  11. A quick fly around the field and a chance to try out sony vegas pro software. Just discovered that half the fun is making the films up after you had a fly, love it. Any tips!!! Many Thanks Clive
  12. I have just added this to my iphone, its got all the airspace and a gps. Can even put in which paramotor and wing you fly. Very clear no fly areas lit up in red, and a warning when you are 2 minuites away. Gives you a cockpit with speed height distance and time traveled. Thermgeek all for £2.39 less than a pint, happy days. http://www.butterscotch.com/preview/999 ... scontainer Thanks Clive

  20. I could not get on with my pap throttle so i made this. Have not flown with it yet but im getting full throttle and got plenty of slack when moving my arm about. I had to make a small cut out in the grip and dent the tube where the lever touches the grip. Still like the look of the cameleon throttle but a bit on the expensive side. Thanks Clive
  21. Quite like the look of that how much is it and where did you get it from. Thanks Clive
