    Parajet Test Fly.

Hi Dave, believe me, it will spit you off the ground no probs. Its a marvellous machine, but l noticed today a bit thirsty on the ol' juice. Enjoy. Mike
  5. Hi Simon, should be down Sunday, all going well. how did you get on with asking Giles about the Lighter socket for the Macro. Regards Mike
  6. Hi Ian, Yep, be great to meet up, whether its Lambourn or Homestead. Have met Barry Gardner at last yesterday for the first time and his field looks great for flying and found Barry very pleasant and helpful. Not sure if my mobile number is available but Simon has it anyway. I mainly fly Sunday and Mondays as l normally work on a Saturday. Regards Mike
  7. Looks like todays blown out and also Monday, so fingers crossed for next weekend. For me thats (Sun and Mon). Keep looking at it in the shed, me tinks put it together and listen to the roar
  8. Hi Dan, Many thanks for those links. That is the farm l was looking for. Hope to be out Sunday but weather looking a bit on the windy side. Thanks again, Mike
  9. Hi all, I have a couple of flying sites in my diary including Lambourn as the no 1. Also locally where l live there is a couple near Basingstoke. The question is there is a site near Mychett/Normandy/perhaps Puttenham which is on the left hand side of the Hoggs Back going towards London. A friend said he has seen several fly over this area, but for the life of me l can't find it. Does anyone know of this site or the Farmer/landowners tel number. Many thanks Mike.

    Parajet Test Fly.

Hi Simon, will tell my boss in the morning, l will be there. (27 Oct 07) Shame about tommorow, asked him nicely but a bit short notice and almost had him in a panic haha. Weather permitting should be down Sun or Mon Mike
  11. Hi Simon, Welcome home, hope the holiday was as expected and you had a good rest. Hope to see you next weekend (Sun/Mon) Cheers Mike
  12. Hi all, did anyone fly this evening. I flew at Liddington this afternoon but also had my motor with me so popped over to Lambourn about 1730. It was blowing a hooley but as l reached Basingstoke it seemed much calmer. Hope next weekend is a tad better eh! Regards Mike
  13. Hi all, The forums gone quiet or is this because the weather has gone pair shaped again. . I am hoping to free fly at Liddington on Mon but will have my motor with me just incase Regards Mike
  14. Hi Simon, Well, a big thank you for bringing all together ie, myself the wing and the motor. I have finally got my wish after two and half years of searching and waiting. Only my third flight on a PPG today but with my own equipment glissening in the afternoon sun. The combination of the Parajet Macro and the Synthesis wing and me underneath was sheer poetry. The harness was comfortable and easy to get into and although midday flying with a few turbulent bumps the wing stayed reassuringly stable and the take off and landing was text book. After a week in Annecy free flying, this was icing on the cake. Thanks also to Colin and Paul this morning for getting my Macro unflooded ( a very tense half hour ) Regards Mike. PS The "T" shirt fits like a glove, hope it doesn't shrink
  15. Hi Simon, If the Macro is in your hands by then, l will be down, if not, see you Thurs or Fri. Regards Mike.
  16. Hi Simon, Hope the taster day went well with you also, the weather has been good although not as much dynamic as thermic and not constant either ie the thermic wind came lots took off then bags of sink even the sky gods were slope landing Hope you found your wind sock, see you in the week. Regards Mike.
  17. Hi Stuart, really appreciate the pictures taken, many thanks. just to say that was my second flight as l had my first about two weeks ago under the supervision of Simon, but yesterday was slightly daunting at first because l had a feeling that something wasn't right and was correct when Simon came to alter the hang points. It was actually my first flight with the Synthesis wing though, and once airborne found it a really stable strong wing. Regards Mike. P.S. (if you read this Simon) l flew the synthesis top to bottom at Coombe today and it felt spongy as if l was light on the wing, free flying this is, and obviously without the 30kgs of motor that must have been the reason. But everyone l spoke to said mainly two things, That is, its a good looking wing and secondly wasn't it fast Mike
  18. Hi Simon, The visit to Parajet today was very enlightening. Pity the cage wasn't ready today for mine but hope to pick it up in the week. (terry, you missed a good day ). The afternoon at the airfield started out a bit twitchy and therefore didn't fly but good l didn;'t as the hang points were in the wrong position. but when you came along to change them and gave the thumbs up on launch l had a fantastic hours flight, and near to running out of fuel. All in all a great day. The wind sock is behind the front seat of the L/rover Simon with the pole. See you in the week to hopefully pick up the Macro Parajet. by the way, the synthesis wing is brilliant, very stable, and just wants to fly, looking forward to connecting it to my own machine. See you in the week Simon Mike
  19. Ok Simon, thanks. I take it the ridgeway is where we park to fly normally. See you there Saturday. Regards Mike
  20. Hi Simon, If l'm picking up my Motor then l will be driving and should have room for two more passengers. Are we meeting at the airfield or your house. Regards Mike S

    More stuff.

Hi Simon, Is this reserve the one we were talking about Monday on the phone. As you said and l agree a steerable one ins't necessary, as we are only going to need it in an emergency. Looking forward to Saturday for many reasons
  22. Hi Simon, stick me down for one (large or Xlarge depending) See you soon. Mike
  23. Hi Simon, Yes, put my name down and Jackie, l will confirm tommorow night but 99% certainty as l would imagine the visit to be very interesting one.(don't want to miss it) Regards Mike
  24. Hi Norman, Glad you have that aironautical feeling through your veins. In reply to your story "Ditto Ditto Ditto Ditto and Ditto to every word of it. Its blxxxy fantastic. In a few days l will have my own Macro delivered. I had my first powered flight last week and same as you l could not get into the harness cos my wife said l'm a fat bxxxxxx. but the joy of not travelling miles to a hill or a winch site when time is in the equation is something else. Safe flying and l usually say "see you on a hill" but this time l can say see you on a flat field. Regards Mike S
