  1. Hi Luke. Am interested in your comments about second set of toggles above brake handles. I have neucleon 27 and land on setting midway between full slow and neutral but still need to take a wrap in nil winds. Could you please expand on how second set of toggles are attached, how far above primary toggles are they fitted and do they affect flight when brakes stowed ie. fully up. Thanks.
  2. Have been flying pap with evo 100 for past 2 years. best engine ever, done about 100 hrs on it and it has never missed a beat. I'm 13st naked wieght and it's got just enough power for nil wind take off's, but once in the air is fairly quiet and very smooth. have started flying parajet macro this year and it's not a patch on the evo, except more power. Only thing iv'e done to evo is change spark plug and replace pull cord and it still starts first time every time.
  3. concider yourself lucky Fancis is out of action
  4. Hi Ian. Welcome aboard. I live in Ince Blundell, so if you want to PM me your number i'll let you know where and when we're flying and you can come along and meet the lads. There's plenty of experiance in our group so you can get some good unbiased advice.
  5. Thanks for posting this subject. Been having trouble getting into my Macro. Improvment after tightening leg straps so i didn't hang so low out of seat on take off. Have tried several types off adjustments which have helped but still need big effort getting into seat. Find this especially anoying after foot dragging having to get hieght before stowing brakes and using hands to get back into seat. Didn't have this problem with PAP.
  6. Not low flying with you again Aquatix till you get rid of that GPS.
  7. Looking like a good fri eve. if were out count me in.
  8. Thought i had all my paramotoring bits and bobs till monday eve, now i've got to find an umberella. Look forward to flying with you Mark. (first time i've been to Frankby and not flown).
  9. Try an off landing or two and see how a bit of fitness helps.
  10. Harness's sometimes set like this to counteract torque turn. Have an evo 100 myself but with a clutch so doesn't need the counteracting (if that makes sense) Hope this helps.
  11. Hi Zac, Andy Walkden at Skyschool is nr Southport 07999239807 or Paul Kilburn at Manchester Paragliders is just off East Lancs Road, Astley 07859922868.

Try Paul Kilburn at Manchester Paragliding. (mainly paramotoring) If he hasn't got he will probably know where to go.
  15. Best tip i can give is don't bother. Went there a few years ago, flying is ok but terrain is aweful. the land is very rocky and the thorn bushes will rip your wing to bits if you don't have a good precise landing. There are better places to go to, like Turkey, fantastic flying and landing on a huge beach next to the bars, also great place for the family. Also, Teneriffe twice as expensive as Turkey. Still, weather well better than UK, hope you enjoy.
  16. Hi Looserivet. I too live near Liverpool, have nr. 5000 skydives under my belt and have done camera work but am currently doing tandems. Been paramotoring for 3 years (still regard myself as inexperienced). There is a group of us flying in this area so if you'd like to come along one day let me know. Think you'll love this sport if you give it a go.
  17. A post at last, thought everyone had died. 4 of us flying out of Formby Sat 2pm. Fantastic forecast, get it on. PM 4 details.
  18. Pics look brill, Got 8+ hrs in over hols. Bit cold but really smooth air. Put post on when you lads are flying next and hopefully meet up.
  19. Just thought i'd chip in with the rest of you PAP fans. Got a PAP evo 100, best motor ever used. Smooth, Quiet, 125 prop shifts my 90kg arse no probs. 3.5hrs with the 13ltr tank if you trim it rite (dudek neucleon 27) Plenty of comfort adjustments on harness. No probs after 35hrs use. Wot more do you need?
