  1. Nice video Dan...Wish we had that kind of weather over here in Blighty.. Neil..
  2. After all the trouble he's caused, I don't think anybody takes much notice of Dell Schanze anyway. Neil..
  3. I can't understand why more pilots don't mount their reserves on the side of their motor's.....It counters torque steer, and there's no chance of leaving it behind when you go for a fly.. Neil..
  4. Great video.......Looks a beautiful place!! Neil..
  5. The default setting on my GoPro is 960p..... Neil..
  6. My only wish is to paramotor.....(I'm getting there!!) I took a paragliding course a couple of years ago, and this was only to learn the basic principles of ground handling...I have no desire at all to free-fly. Neil..

  13. Big up to Ran!!!!.......... Neil..
  14. I would be very careful in opting for a Polini engined paramotor, especially for the heavier pilot. The 110cc Polini Thor engine has a claimed output of 22HP- the same as a 180 cc engined Parajet Macro...... On the France trip earlier this year a pilot had a lucky escape after an engine out on a Polini Thor motor.....And he was a relatively small pilot. Upon investigation it had blown a 20mm hole in the piston.. The motor was brand new. Neil..
  15. Very sad news indeed... I don't know if the Saudi pilots face more challenging flying conditions than those of us living in the western world, but I believe this brings the total to four paramotor pilot fatalities in the past year or so... Neil.
  16. The tracker appears to be switched off...... I would hazard a guess, and say making steady progress through France.... Neil..
  17. I dont think you can beat the Suunto X10 for functionality.......combined altimeter AND gps. Neil..
  18. Hi Jonny, I used to have a Brauniger IQ/Basic GPS, which I believe is exactly the same unit as the Flytec 4105, (Same software). I found it impossible to set up, and even got in touch with Brauniger but to no avail. Despite making enquiries here on the forum, I received no replies as nobody appears to use them....I've since found that the Brauniger/Flytec units are predominantly soaring instruments, (best suited to paragliding as opposed to paramotoring). I now have a Garmin 495 GPS...... Hope this helps. Neil..
  19. Hi Pete, How many cc is the Simmo mini+2 ........ Neil..
  20. Looks good.....What motor is that? and what sort of power? Neil..
  21. That's a nice looking bit of kit, is it in the classified ads....... Neil..
  22. Not long now, really looking forward to it!!!
  23. Very nice motor Pete!!......The reliability of the Hilux is legendary (300,000 miles+) .. They run forever!! Don't take any notice of Simon's Land Rover biased comments.... He even had the cheek to call my Nissan Pathfinder a "hairdressers 4x4" , when in reality the Pathfinder is up there with the Toyota Land Cruiser....And then some!!!...... Bearing in mind you're now living in Wandsworth, I would have opted for keeping the Toyota and selling you're wife's car.....The Hilux having an excellent platform for a rear mounted .50 Cal.........Just what's needed to keep any potential paramotor thieves at bay...... Neil..
