  1. Hi all. Ive had some unwanted visitors last night and had two motors stolen from the Bolton area. One is a bulldog moster 185 early model, it stands out as it's a full polished frame no paint at all. The other is an ec extreme simoninu mini plus 2, again destinctive as it's had repairs to the cage hoops and frame. So it's it's partly black and partly carbon wrap. It's also got black netting fitted. Both motors have a mayday 20 reserve fitted in a flight deck and have the cage pieces in carry bags. The polished bulldog is rare and the mini 2 stands out because of repairs. If anyone comes across them I'd appreciate a heads up. Cheers Lee.
  2. I'll second the mod page. I've been on jaguar forums where they have a technical page, all the mods are catalogued into make and model making it easy to find things. Lee.
  3. This is something I'd love to do. Sadly due to things out of my control I can't. So gents please swamp us with vids and pics when you've enjoyed it. Cheers Lee.
  4. Ahhhh now we see, you just want to draw a massive cock in sky, admit it !!!!
  5. Spring too strong? Sounds like your mate neglected his grip exercises when he was younger!
  6. I know dad went to a place in manchester with the old rubbers and got a selection for a few quid, different grades of stiffness in case that go again.
  7. On serious note. There must be some kind of vibration to cause that. It looks like its stemmed from the mounting point. Have you had a look at the rubbers, my dads just had to change his.
  8. That looks nasty. Get the mig on it. There's nothing like making holes with a welder !!
  9. What motor is it. Normally it's two bolts and a wiggle to disengage the bendix gear.
  10. Have a look at flyskyhy it's similar to PPGpS with airspace maps.
  11. I'd have said its the reverse of your kit. Our flying kit comes assembled but at some point requires complete disassembly !!!!!
  12. Hi matey. I'm from manchester and there are plenty of places you can and can't fly around here. Granted your more central than me and your pretty much screwed around the airport. The first thing you need is training. You will struggle to do better than manchester Paragliders with Paul Kilburn. He will teach all you need to know including when and where you should fly. Laying out for decent training short term will save you a lot of money and pain long term. Google Manchester paragliders and have a look at his site, then give him a bell, he's a decent no bull bloke who will put you in the air safely everytime. Cheers Lee.
  13. As a beginner and still novice getting used to bumps that probably have lots you giggling while I'm still saying sh@t boll@£js and looking at my wing. I don't know that I'd like more feel for what the wing is taking care of. But I can appreciate the info it gives you.
  14. Fanny pack always had me wondering?? As for a beginner using. Personally I think having you thumb over an easily reachable cut off switch out weighs coping with a cluttered hand. So I'd learn on a standard throttle and move on to one latter. But that's just me. Cheers Lee.
