alan_k
'Paramotors work by the pilot running into the wind carrying a parachute and when it catches the motor strapped to their back carries them upwards.' So glad I understand how they work now Hope he's OK, he's certainly got a dining out tale now. Cheers, Alan
Guest
Oppss.... I was expecting to see an engine out rather than an actual fly into the trees! All is well that ends well SW

Curiosity
Ignore the video, read the comments below it. The attitude of most people is incredible. No sympathy, just blame and petty-mindedness. According to 'daglocks' he also failed to follow the correct procedure for crashing into a tree (simon, I am looking forward to that lesson) and his instructor 's name should also be published as he failed to teach Mr. little how to self rescue from a tree by climbing down the bridle of his reserve. Is it just me, or is that just plain stupid? Great idea if you are in the bundu, but surely a rather more dangerous idea if you are in leafy Kent. enzo200500
What about a roll of dental floss, carried and lowered down to your rescuers. Thus allowing you to pull up a stout rope and assist in the self rescue.... Would that be mint floss or eau natural?
