Wratty71
5days into my training and because of this damn weather there is such a gap between each visit we just end up repeating what we have done. This weeks weather looks just as rubbish. Starting to feel like we'll never get off the ground. ARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!! Inspire me peeps... please inspire me.... alan_k
Don't give up. We've all had setbacks, it's worth it in the end. I had an hour and twenty minute drive to get to my instructor, so some days I'd phone beforehand to get the OK, then by the time I'd got there the weather had turned After I had done my first solo, for lots of reasons (instructor moved, lack of experience, saving hard towards moving house, life in general) I didn't fly again for 5 years Now I'm flying regularly and have a modern wing it's just fantastic. The weather has got to change at some time Cheers, Alan
Richwill15
Well it's St. Swithins day today so whatever we have today we'll alledgedly have for quite a while to follow however, the Met Office are saying that the jet stream will be moving further north from around the 25th July onwards so southern UK should see some improvements. But don't shoot the messenger if that's not the case.

It it was easy- sure everyone would be at it! Repitition will do no harm- eventually all the stuff you are doing will become instinctive- that's when you've nailed it. A lot of work, fustration- but worth it in the end.
