alan_k
You know how it is, you go to the field on your own and take off first attempt no problem. What is it with an audience I looked like a complete novice I was the first to start laying out the wing and the last one in the air First and third attempt the wind shifted. Second attempt I hit the "°+ç*#§ kill switch, doh! Anyway a good time has been had by all so far, I think some are still sleeping it off. Back up the field this evening when it's cooled down a bit. surrey-dad
You know how it is, you go to the field on your own and take off first attempt no problem. What is it with an audience I looked like a complete novice Isn't that one of Murphy's law: 'The number of people watching you is directly proportional to the stupidity of your action'. Boy do the French know how to lunch ...Then the president of the club had donated 3 LARGE pieces of cheese for the cheese course and to top it off the dessert course. Talk about stuffed Sounds excellent - but it's amazing that anyone could get off the ground Anyway looking forward to seeing more of your photos in due course... alan_k
Fair comment Andy, I can say that Murphy Law wasn't broken on the evening visit also The new harness has a different feel to it and I need to hone my technique to match it. A liitle extra info that I learned was that Ditsys owner/1st microlight pilot, standing next to Ditsy in the photo above, is only 79.....79 There were quite a few more people on the field in the evening and some went for trial flights with said pilot, some also in the 2 seater trike. poz
Looks like a really great day Alan, although a few too many wheels for my liking French aviation sport really has it's act together. It a pity a little of it can't rub off on Spain. Cheers Dan
