  1. Hi, I am currently flying a ITV Billy XS my all up weight is 120kg and i have so far 48 flights under my belt,It's got 2d stering and was told that i should only use tip steering when trimming out since it is a reflex wing. Is this correct? i cannot find this information in the manual. I have so far only flown straight when untrimmed and used weight shift to correct my heading because the tip brakes lines get so high on my high hangpoint machine it is very uncomfortable to reach out and grab them to make a turn. I rarely fly untrimmed but i want to make sure i am safe when i do. thanks
  2. Got in touch with the manufacturer of the frame and They told me it is very doable. They already put some moster's on these once
  3. Hi, I was wondering if anyone had experience in swapping engines. I am currently a beginner with around 43 flights flying with a ros125. I like the frame(even tough it seen better days) but i fear that the engine might break down eventually in a few years(i don't know how many hours it has or the year of manuacture) it might be cheaper to put a brand new engine on that frame. I know that when they were making those frames(in 2008) they made other brackets to fit bigger engines like the cisco c-max 175 on that same exact frame. So would it be conceivable to swap the engine for a moster 185? Would it be doable? I could make new brackets for it
  4. Was able to get it appart using two appropriate sized spring pins and a adjustable wrench. the cause of the faillure was probably the one who has taken it appart last time, the seal wasn't installed properly. Seems like the bearings had exploded causing damage to the casing which hasn't been taken care of before installing the seals and new bearings
  5. i am currently in Québec which is a tad bit too far . Maybe someday i'll go to the uk
  6. I am honestly surprised by the support i am getting from the Ros Team. I might be looking at their brand new Ros 125 for my future "non-beginner" setup
  7. No it's the other way around, the pinion gear unscrews from the clutch. It was confirmed to me thaf they are regular threads so no reverse threads
  8. it is too small diameter for grinder tool. Since the gear is turning left it must be tightened clockwise with the resistance of the bigger gear ( i think). I will try to fabricate a 4 pin tool and if that doesn't work i will try and unscrew from the clutch bell with a bigger tool. If that doesn't work then i might just go at it with a pipe wrench and buy another pinion gear lol
  9. yes, unfortunately it broke When i tried to loosen the pinion gear. I don't know what to do now
  10. no i have ordered a proper pin spanner wrench to do the job. I should try it tomorrow
  11. Decided to send an email direclty to Marc Motors in Italia. This is the response i got Helloyou need a gig with 2 shaft go inside the hole of the clutch bell andblock itthen opposite side with a compass wrench put the small shaft inside thesmall hole and demounting the piniondo attention how the seal are mounted before removeput 35 cc of oilbest regardsGianluca Very good customer support i got this answer in the first hours of them being open.
  12. Hello, i am currently replacing my reductor seals and was wondering if anyone knows how to get the lower gear / bell housing appart. Can i press it out or is there another trick? I am very puzzuled by this Thank you
  13. It is a normal reflex in the beginning. I personally got better at running around my 20th flight. I now have 34 flights. Learning to run is definetly harder than it sounds but once you master it you start to master the basic launch
  14. How much do you weigh and whats your wing, this will influence greatly what paramotor you want to choose
  15. Hi, My Name is Julien from Canada i am finishing off my paramotor training soon and i am looking to buy a ros125 on an airpro frame. my weight is 85kg and i am learning to fly on my ITV billy 22.5. I just wanted to know your experiences with the ros125 engine. I know it's not top off the line( bit heavy and hard to start mainly) but i don't want to get and expensive motor and wreck it while getting more flights in ( i am currently at 28 and 30 required for a license). Probably going to buy a brand new unit when i finish off university and get a house in two years. What are your thoughts?Anything i should look for? It hasn't got much hours on it and my instructor is selling it to me for 3000$ cad ( 1750 GbP).
