  2. Hi, We are all flying in our dreams at the moment. There are about 4 of us around here that I know of and we're all at the same stage of trying to get airbourne. At the moment we are having to travel down to the club site at Lambourn due to not having found anywhere local to practice which is a bit of a pain cause it's always the wrong conditions for first flights when we get there! But I'm sure it will be ok one day. How long have you been flying and where do you fly from? Tim

Hi Mike, Don't know about you but I'm finding it very frustrating, so near to getting airbourne, just need the weather, place and someone with expierience to give me that final push, but just can't seem to get it all to come together at the same time! Coggie gave me alot of encouragement and enthusiasm early on but I think if I don't do it soon I'll get bored and move onto somthing else. What time do you knock off work? I can pop up The Aviator after work if you want (I finnish at 4:30) I see there is some airobatic stuff going on Wed and Thurs , how about then? Tim

  11. Hi Mike, I'm also in Northampton and Just need to finish my training off. Been looking for active members and sites in this area so as can get a bit of ground handling in locally, but with no luck yet. Hopefully it will all come together soon though. Tim
  12. Well worth the journey even though the gusty conditions kept the motor in my car. More experience and tips gained, much appreciated. Shall bring the chauffeur next time so as I can replace the sweat properly. Roll on next time Tim

  15. Loaded car up in the rain then rang Simon to check on conditions there, only to find out it's poo there aswell! Very dissapointed. ( Going to have to find myself another weather man.) Now , do I unload my car and try another weekend or do I wait untill the morning and try again . Weather man says it going to be better but I can't trust him any more. Secondly will there be any activity down there anyway? Really itching to get fully trained. Tim

  21. Dave, Glad to see that you returned from Eddies parrallel universe unscathed, how was it? Really looking forward to our little adventure and meeting everybody, a very big thank you to those involved in getting me and my kit to France. Can't see anything wrong with having another holiday when we get home , maybe a flying holiday. Tim
  22. Helmet arrived today and it fits like a glove , also very light and looks good too. Just got to find a tall tree to fall out of to see if it works . Thanks Simon for the quick turn around. See you in France Tim

  24. Hi , Was going to buy a Plusmax helmet for my 58cm head. Should I buy the medium or go for the large (60cm)? Unfortunatly growing hair to fill it out is not an option! Tim
