I always launch and land in public areas... Where I live there are many areas that are regarded as common land. I used to always use the beach but your kit suffers badly due to sand, salt, twigs etc. The public absolutely love watching take offs and landings..!!

Great vid, good sense of speed. I want one but need to justify spending that extra cash to her indoors. Think I'd go for a 24m for more lift. (Currently using a V5 and Nucleon 34)

Yeah, it's gusty here... One minute it's windy the next still. Been a month since I last flew and I'm apprehensive now.

I resemble that remark Beenflying much? It's been rubbish here... I'm apprehesive about flying next time as it's been that long..!! I did notice that landing and take of sites were limited in marbella... It was either built up, rough ground, hilly or orchards and the beach was narrow. The tide hardly went out..!!

These quadcopters are addictive. I started at Xmas and have gone thru' 3 mini UFOs, and repaired the 450 several times. The frame always failed at a weak point near the motor mounts. I built it up with the glue gun, which is essentially molten plastic. Looks ugly but I have struck the ground many times now without failing. ''You have to break a few eggs to make a cake..Lol''

Anyone goin' flyin' this weekend? Did anyone fly this weekend? I would like to but would like to join in with others.... Please let me know.... NW preferably?

Yo Dan Cheers for coming to meet us at the hotel....I got some invaluable top tips from you. Ange n me have been Tarifa kitesurfing but I recon it would be an absolutey awesome spot for the paramotors on a still day. Went to Ronda..breath taking!! Can't belive how bad the rain and wind can be here...hotel bound at the mo. Anyway, if there's the unlikely chance of you getting out on your Pap...let me know please...would like to see how it's done in Spain

Dan I'm mildly excited about coming over. The mail reason being that I had a most excellent flying sesh last Saturday and can't wait to repeat it when I get back from Spain. I've noticed that once one has experienced paramotoring and (kitesurfin) it takes alot to match the awesomeness (can't think of a word to describe it...I'm not sure there is one). See ya soon bud.

Alan Sometimes the stress and hassle of going on a weeks' holiday can outway the positives of going away full stop... Airlines are on their knees too, I'm sure. In this case the brokers are at fault. Cheers Rob

Simon, Im doing an overlander in Aug with my family too. Besides...I'm dubious sending £7.5Kworth of kit through the baggage handling system. Your trip to Africa is an absolute bargain....I have to workon my other half to allow me to go...yes she wears the trousers

DO NOT TRUST ANYONE!!!!!!!!!! I went ahead and booked a holiday specifically for paramotorring. The brokers assured me that Easyjet accepted the wing and engine on the itinerary and I paid in full. 2 days later I recieved an Email confirming the flight, hotel and hire car...the paramotor and wing was not in the itinerary. I wrote and asked them to send me a formal document that I could produce at check in as proof that the motor and wing had been paid for. They sent me an Email with a single sentence to say a paraglider had been included in the price. Nothing surprises me how badly salespeople do their job and how low they will go to get a sale. It would have cost me £10 per kilo when I turned up at the check in. The V5 weighs 30kg. Both ways would have cost an extra £600. TRUST NO-ONE. Assume salespeople are wanting to lie and rip you off. Make sure you have written proof of anything they say before you part with any money.!!!!!!!!!! I'm now going on a paramotorring holiday without a paramotor...
