Totally shit out of a parachute jump in Oz and held the kids while the wife done it! One of my biggest regrets i would definetly do it now shame though the chance has gone and she still tunes me about it! Do you fly other flying craft then Alan? What do you prefer?

Is it only me or does anyone else get scared on a big plane and small internal flights but wont blink an eye about Paramotoring any where I love the feeling looking out with nothing infront of you. My mates cant work me out i think its about being in control yourself! I suppose doing all your own safety checks it puts your own mind at rest as your not relying on anyone else. Does anyone else feel the same?

I might take up bowls! LOL Its really helpful to read these comments and i will certainly re invest in more tuition and advise when i get my reflex wing as i was taught and learnt on a non reflex wing.

The Pap is only the 1250 cage,(im only 5.5) i tried it out today not flying but just fitting and its surprising how much more thrust it has as they are supposed to be close thrust to the mxl it felt alot more. Im glad i did the mxl first, it gave me confidence and helped my technique. Looking forward to the nice weather!

I think you will be showing me how its done! Got my Rad up for sale at mo on ebay and wing and picked up a top 80 of a friend whos upgraded,cant wait to fly with it, I can see work taking a back seat!

Hi Guys I fly an arcus swing 2003 Being an older design has the design of wings today advanced to a point where they would be safer than a 2003 design. Are they less likely to parachutal stall or am i paranoid! Matt k

Hi Guys I am in Rayleigh A friend and i have been flying from two tree island most weekends from the common next to the skate park then flying out along the coast at low tide and near the pier and following the creeks around canvey island. There has been three other guys over there also. Be great to meet you over there one weekend. We have also been flying from a common near to essexboatyards on wallasea island. Matt -
I was surprised how much uplift i got on my Rad, i wasnt revving that hard and the winds were very light and i went straight up. May be the size of my wing (arcus swing 29m)and only being 62kg helps. Would a revolution 26 be ok with the rad if i kept trimmers in? till i can afford a thrustier motor? Great flying from two tree, been taking off from there low then heading out to sea at lowtide, What about you come down one day Simon with a few others? Matt

christ is that all the rad does!? Are all paramotor manufacturers quoting more thrust than they actually are?

Hi Guys I have a Rad Mxl 120cc with an exhaust that is fitted to the side and points down,I have noticed on the Radne website there is a tuned exhaust which is also for the 120 but not too sure if it would fit mine? It looks like it would have to come across the top apposed to down the side?

Thanks for the advise. What is the main difference between a reflex and non reflex wing? Is it the same principle using the speed bar or is the complete wing altered in reflex mode? Cheers Matt
