Im putting the paperwork together this evening. The airspace file will be nice and simple (as the avoid areas are kept simple so that people can fully understand where they are. SW
  4. SERA has not changed yet. (unless I missed something!) so I think safe to say nothing has changed (except maybe the attitude towards brits a little) SW
  5. Sorry the set up crew only for the Thursday evening 'council' roads and such... However, you can arrive at sunrise and be welcomed with a coffee and Bacon butty shortly after See you there!! SW
  6. New link!! https://www.paramotorclub.org/communitymap/ Name changed to community map. Sorry about that SW
  7. The only true 'mechanical' answer is to strip it down and replace the bearings / clean the carb / clean everything. Other less sympathetic people might just say clean the carb and go for it. Good luck which ever way you decide to go. SW
  8. I like the idea because it looks lovely!! lol I think the design was originally for a boat? SW
  9. I just wanted to let you all know that the bore chasers event will be a cash event. I did get a card machine but the signal at the bore chase is poo and it works on 4G so i don't want to assume it will work. See you all soon!! SW
  10. Notam alerts/info would place this app inline with the big boys. SW

  12. Hi Phil, something like that yes. Drinks wise we have a huge drinks fridge, and two taps and a cooler The aim is to fill the fridge with a range of stuff and get a couple of Ales for the pumps. Food, Breakfast things like bacon rolls, e.t.c will be served. At around lunch time, toasties, burgers, and so on.. Evening, chilly / curry / similar. with rice (ordered a massive rice cooker yesterday ) Thats the general idea and it will be closing for short periods in between. SW

A short Poll that will help me massively if you would be so kind as to take the time Many Thanks! SW
  14. Just a short poll to help me out a little bit with the food / drink situation for Bore Chasers. Please comment below if have suggestions about the food / drink. It's all very new to me and in terms of quantity I am almost certainly going to get it wrong lol SW
  15. Is it an XB12? 'seriously' the Buell XB 12 is a bike I regret selling! SW
  16. Hi Steve, and welcome to the Paramotor Club. Just to clarify, the word 'licence' is the wrong one. There is no licence in the UK for piloting a Paramotor. The BHPA, the APPI and the PMC all issue 'club ratings' It does not matter who's tent you instructor resides in its more important that you get on with your instructor and enjoy the learning process. A bit like driving... You will do the vast amount of your actual learning and skills development for the following couple of years after your training. Either way, hopefully we will see you at one of the events buzzing around in the future! SW

Just a heads up, There is now a 'set reminder' and 'follow' options near the top of the page. The reminder is as you would expect and can be set for any time before the event. The Follow will let you know if I update the page with new information. I will be adding maps and the Speed Bar menu so may be worth hitting these buttons SW
  18. So you have Lee Moss who is in Newbury. He runs a garage and has an area for Paramotor servicing and loads of spares. If it's a Vitto 80 or 185 then Skybound Aviation are more focused on these engines he is based near Swindon. I will PM over some contact details for you. SW
  19. There are a few places that do this now Where about's are you from? SW

  22. Well done mate Great bit of PR! SW
