rob999
Typical newbie question, but thought I'd ask it anyway.. It seems to me that the Polini engine (either 100 or 200) is the 'one' to go for. But which frame rates as the best? As an 86kg wringing wet newbie who wants to cross country rather than parabatix, which frame and harness should I be looking at ?? My wing of choice at the moment is a Revo2 26m. When frame builders built their own engines it was much easier, but now it seems that most of them do a Polini option. Therefore it makes it a choice of frame, rather than engine and frame selection.. I hope that makes sense.. If possible, rather than just say that you prefer one frame over another would you tell me why you prefer it... Is it comfort, hang point location, quality, price, ease of use etc etc.. Thanks... Neilzy
Hi i fly a EC Extreme Moster powered unit which i extremely happy with over the moon to be fair, but on a recent trip to the Parajet factory with a mate who bought one i have to say i was blown away, the quality of the build was outstanding. It made me look at Paramotors in a compleatly different light although a tad more expensive, i would if spending hard earned cash again i would have to look at a Parajet it kinda makes almost everything else look very very amatuer, weld quality, harness quality, finish quality it really left me thinking it really was that good!!!!!! stuartasutherland
I've ordered a Zenith, perhaps not for a beginner though!
outkast
The parajet frame has always been a good bit of kit, I have a polini thor in a kobra frame, I think if I were to buy again it may well be in a parajet frame, dependant on price of course. Steve
A Parajet Custom frame would be a good bet, nice geometry, beautifully made and strong enough for minor bumps. The version with netting is best. The customer support is outstanding. The Polini engine is a nice match.
rob999
Thanks for the responses so far. I'm pleased they all relate to Parajet, I was heavily leaning in this direction, guided by common sense and the guiding hand of Deano Eldridge. The factory is a great place to visit, the MD scoots around with bare feet on a longboard.. I just wanted to get the recommendations of flyers who have got everyday flying experience. Thanks one and all.....
Steve
I produced the Zenith manual and had the joy of spending quite some time there in the process. The forward thinking, attention to detail, quality control and just about everything else I witnessed was outstanding. But beyond all of that is the fact that if you have a problem they are there for you and sort it out. For example, I had a reduction belt pulley failure last January and when I got home I mentioned it on my Facebook page. Within ten minutes I had a message from the Jim the MD asking what was needed and a complete set of replacement parts, including bolts, arrived free of charge by the next post. There's no messing about, they take customer support very seriously which works for us and for them. You need to remember that this isn't a Ford Focus with a local garage able to fix issues, it's specialised and you need the support of the manufacturer if anything goes wrong. For balance I should mention that other UK manufacturer's also offer good customer support (it's just that I have experienced Parajet's). Guest
What he said! I have had loads of support from Parajet over a number of years. My latest experience was a break down in one of the wires in the cable assembly. Next day, new one no charge. SW

custom-vince
Funny to talk about the excellent parajet welding and attention to detail. There is no welding on the Zenith, that just all attention to every detail. Vince (parajet dealer
Steve
Where does anyone say that, I couldn't find any reference to welding on a Zenith.
custom-vince
there isn't. talking of excellent parajet welding skills, yet there is not welding on their newest frame. I was just pointing out that there is no welding on the zenith. Its a first for production as I cant think of another paramotor frame out there that has no welding other than the DIY thing.
