paramotormike
Had a great flight this afternoon. From home to Bredon Hill and back. Not a soul around, on the ground or in the air! In the air for almost 90mins.
norbertflyer
Great stuff Mike. I had a couple of afternoon flights over Clent/Kiddy/Stourport. Just enough wind to help me off the ground. Viz was only about 15km, but still great to get into the warm air. As you experienced, not a sausage in the air all afternoon, but myself. Richard. pjenni12
I raced home early yesterday for an afternoons flying only to have to wait for the UPS man to deliver my prop. I presumed it would have been dropped off mid morning....guess what he brought it at 5.30! Which left me all of 30 mins to balst around the field, not what I had planned but better than nothing. norbertflyer
Well done Phil, No way could I have set up that quick and flown ........ Great day though, I was just a little disappointed by the thermal behaviour during the afternoon. Nothing seemed to lift more than a couple of hundred feet and then they just disappeared. I know the RASP wasn't brilliant, but I had expected to do a little engine off flying. Richard.
alan_k
Nice pictures Mike. I was going to fly yesterday afternoon then a cold front came over and reduced the viz to just enough. It certainly went cool though so I put my winter suit on and sh*t one of the zips went. Couldn't be fixed so clothing malfunction stopped play. I wasn't going up without adequate insulation Cheers, Alan
paramotormike
Thanks for the nice comments guys. Its amazing what can stop play. I had the spring inside the clip on my helmet break. So could not do the helmet up. I had left my other helmet at home....... Always go out with both now. Mike.
