matt_k
Clive i just found this on the go pro web The camera will not power on. •Remove the battery and SD card from the camera. •Reinsert the battery into the camera. •Connect the camera via the USB cable to your computer or USB wall/car charge adapter. Keep the camera powered off, and the red LED on the front of the camera should light up to indicate that the battery is charging. Once the battery is fully charged, the red LED will turn off. •Once fully charged, please try powering on the camera with no SD card by pressing the power/mode button. •No luck? Please email our support team through http://gopro.com/support for further assistance.

macey2kk
I've seen anti fog inserts on eBay.. Maybe worth a go? Or use a different housing?
stuartasutherland
I've had fogging before - I changed to the vented back and it has never happened again. Stu

aquatix
No such problems with the Contour cameras - but the battery life is only half as good as normal in this freezing weather .....
danandkari
Get online and buy some silica gel, drop the silica and camera in a ziplock bag and let it sit over night-good as new. Works on phones after they go swimming also.
bendmeroundthehedge
You can get higher capacity batteries BL-5C for the Contour up to 2430mah on eBay.
