outkast Posted April 8, 2011 Share Posted April 8, 2011 Went down to two tree island to meet Matt and Simon, weather conditions looked just right, after a bit of ground handling I went to warm up my motor and a bit of the plastic recoil on the starter broke and jammed it up solid, then Matt got a nasty change of wind direction mid launch and ended up doing a prop, then to cap it all off, Simon, who had already got airbourne sometime earlyer, phoned Matt to say his motor had quit and he had had to make an emergency landing on the beach at southend. so all three of us had problems on the same night, not a full moon is it? New prop needed for Matt. Spanners in hand...i'm going in to find out whats wrong with her. This hurts, this really hurts. Feel my pain.
