FIRESTEVE
Just thought you might like to know i am in the middle of building my own paramotor based on the 'Bailey four-stroke'. I have reworked the casings of a scooter to make the unit more compact. The engine actually looks a lot like Baileys first creations but then again i suppose it woud seeing as it is the same engine! I'm in the process of making my own redrive gears on the lathe, I just need to find out what will be the best sizes to suit the gearing of the engine. I have mannaged to get hold of a woody valley paramotor harness so once the motor mounting brackets are sorted i can start making the frame. I'm not yet sure if I will be using thin wall stainless or aluminium for the frame, any sugestions? If anyone is interested I can post some photo's of the project so far (not a lot to look at given the time spent!!!). Cheers for now, Steve.
