  1. I have considered Effingham Common but that's as far as it has gone.
  2. Airworks offer it on their website. 8 day beginner to paramotor CP £ 1499.00.
  3. Airworks near Lewes do BHPA paramotor training. http://www.airworks.co.uk/ Fly Spain provide BHPA training. https://www.flyspain.co.uk/
  4. Well, if this works here is a pic of me taken by Cas.
  5. Hi Simon Well it's working OK now without me doing anything so perhaps Firefox have sorted it out their end. Thanks for making the effort to find an answer. Mark.
  6. Thanks Simon, I'll wait and hope they sort it out. Mark.
  7. For the last few days when I have tried to view this PMC website on Firefox it has not loaded. An error occurred during a connection to www.paramotorclub.org. The OCSP server suggests trying again later. Error code: SEC_ERROR_OCSP_TRY_SERVER_LATER The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem. I think it was the same on Chrome too.
  8. E for effort. Must try harder. It's not difficult. http://uk-garmin-airmap.silk.co/
  9. Good stuff Simon. I learnt to paraglide in 2003, once I'd completed my BHPA CP and I bought my own wing the school instructors were there to support me on my first flights on this new wing. 50 (flying) hours later when I moved up to a new wing I was able to test fly it and give & recieve feedback from the instructor I was buying it through, then when my new wing arrived he met me on the hill and checked the wing with me before its first flight. Be safe!
  10. How about a head count for those that are going to Parafest. I'll be going with @cas_whitmore, as long as the weather forecast isn't dire! Who else can we expect to see there?
  11. As PAP use (or used) the ROS 125 I'd say that a PAP dealer would be able to help you. I know @cas_whitmore bought some ROS bits from one of the UK PAP dealers. I think they may have been the same as HE parts.
  12. If you send it for inspection and repacking I expect that they will point out it's age. Reserves are generally considered to have a 10 year life. Whether this is because they degrade after that age or it is so manufacturers can sell you a new one I don't know, depends if you are brave enough to find out!
  13. There is a guy that produces airspace maps for free, Simon Headford (I think). Do a search on paraglidingforum.com Mark.
  14. Hi Newhaven is a Southern Hanggliding Club site http://www.shgc.org.uk/ , take off is mainly to the right of the coastguard point (as you look out to sea). Weather permitting paragliders will fly all the way from Newhaven to Brighton and back. The beach below the cliffs is often used for landing. I'd suggest you contact the sites officer. http://www.shgc.org.uk/contact Mark.
