norman Posted January 16, 2009 Share Posted January 16, 2009 One of our guys (BA) returning from the US encountered a jetstream today running at 230 knots. !00 - 150 knots are routine, almost average, but double that is unique. If you look at todays synoptic (bearing in mind that this is a surface chart) the pressure pattern does look a little unusual across the Atlantic.
