When I looked the complete cruise control knob and screw was missing. e2vdavidb Posted February 2, 2019 Share Posted February 2, 2019 Tony I saw a few of these throttles at Skyschool with tape as well! In an effort to stop this I used Loctite 243 on the bolt to the aluminium thumb wheel and some bolt indicator paint so I see if it works loose. Wont stop it falling out completely but does keep the thumb wheel fixed. I may look at making a plastic part to secure the thumb wheel as it only needs half a turn for free to locked or drill and wire the screw, thoughts? I might just find out what type of screw to use and locite it in. To be honest the tape is doing good - I've used it like that for over a year now. I have it for my car building but its also dabbed over all the critical bolts on my V3 and Scout Hope your managing some flying in Cornwall, too cold in south Germany right now.
