e2vdavidb Posted January 26, 2019 Share Posted January 26, 2019 Just finished fitting a new Moster 180MY19 to my Scout frame. Motor fit fairly easy and almost took as long to fit the optional head cooling duct as the engine to the frame due to fiddly washers and bushes. I did install a new multi function meter and making the wiring look invisible took a bit of time but overall fairly easy. Using a Parajet throttle and wired both switches as kill plus a frame mounted kill switch. The 'Scout Safe Start' system is still on my V3 where it will stay as I always start while wearing my motor. alan_k Posted January 6, 2021 Share Posted January 6, 2021 Usual reason is a broken wire. How many hours on the motor? Do you have any sharp kinks in the throttle cable?
