  1. Yea had that a little on my parjet , just give yourself a little bit of slack in you cable before you take up any throttle/rpm,but if cable is poorly routed look at that also.
  2. Sometimes you just have to ask, and you get the answer on the best paramotor club. In the world!,!!
  3. You can use easy start, But you shouldn't need to, with a two stroke if you have a good spark and the right a mount of fuel it will fire/start immediately. The very reason you have to be very careful with electric starter's one little touch of the starter button and it's running, Do a compression test, and make sure you have a good bright spark . Check your carburetor, 90%of starting problems are carburetor related, there are many videos on YouTube on how to recondition your carburetor. A motor that's constantly difficult to start is one step a way from let you down in flight. It's well worth sorting out ,and not using easy start, Good luck. Geoffw
  4. Well what a fantastic weekend did wonder about the weather," those who dares wins"and we did ,flying every morning afternoon and evening, still can't believe it. Hedge hoping paradise, nice wind for easy take offs and landing didn't hear of a single prop going south. Looked like everyone was making the most of it, 'Speed Bar' did well nice draft beer ,food all very nice, great to catch up with you all, Hopfully the Leverton wind mill can keep turning with the money donated from the club, And nobody did fly into it . Very well done once again Simon and all the team . Many thanks Geoffw. Ps Simon more this year . please mate.
  5. Hi AFyork First of all let me tell you my experience of getting into paramotoring did some paragliding training in Wales it was not for me just to much driving back and forth, 2/3 years later saw video about parajet ,went down to the parajet factory in mere and offered to buy all the gear there and then if they would include training for FREE,they agreed, 1 week in mere and 1 week in Spain, under the personal attention of Alex Ledger from sky school. Being in the right place at the write time that was for sure parajet was just getting going at the time, But let me tell you this, training is the most important thing of all,and you will rely on it all you flying career, and you may see it as expensive ,but once you start flying by yourself you will very quickly realise it was money well spent, and how it keeps you safe, and you enjoy flying so much more, Get training you will no regret it thats for sure. Good luck Geoffw Ps 1500 worth every penny,
  6. Hi paraboy have never removed one myself but were reliability informed that it's easier to remove ,with a hot heat gun,to expand the outer case ,and and a nice sharp tap with a nylon hammer at the rear hope this helps .
  7. Great to see the summer flyin is going ahead, thanks Simon for that, flyin are so important for the club, to bring pilots together have a beer or two and talk all things paramotoring, and off course flying some were new to explore .looks like there's plenty of open space to foot drag till your hearts content, look forward to this one for sure, see you all there . Geoffw Ps, get the sky bar well stock up Simon.
  8. No problem Simon best paramotoring club in the world ,looks like everyone had a great time. Just had my new heated gloves delivered a little bit late for the pmc but will be in my flight bag from now on. Very well done Simon. Geoffw
  9. PMC winter flyin, weather was cold and I mean cold, Thats the only negative thing I can say ,wind speeds were just brilliant nice and easy-going take offs and nice and easy landing, brilliant place to fly. Speed bar never used it flying , but did use it on the ground ,great food and coffee, well done to all the crew Simon. And great to see and meet up and have a chat with new and old members of the club.well done simon and the team very much appreciate your efforts. Geoffw
  10. Better late than never vince, good video and thanks for the spare parts for my carb. will get you a pint a the bore chase, at Simon's new bar.
  11. Hi Abaatabit This is everyone's nightmare, what we're the circumstances of the theft of your motor, and as we all know, insurance is all most impossible, your motor will have an engine number for sure, Hope some how you get your motor back. Best of luck. Geoffw
  12. Jumping the gun alittle, still in 2022 at the moment any thing happening the end of this year Simon please mate , I do love pmc flyins. Ps I did say please.
  13. What a fantastic achievement you must be proud. very well done Andy, and like Alan said would be great to see you at the next pmc flyin.
  14. What a fantastic flyin great to see that it all when well in some challenging conditions, and myself doing a belly button drag. but managed to save the take off, but not my pride. nice to see all the pilots having a great time, and a big thank you to Simon and the team very well done ,and we were on the front page of the Banbury new, for all the money raised for charity ,great to see everyone. Geoffw Ps what's next Simon.
  15. Just noticed the nitro 200 now has a 3 year warranty just keeps getting better, and I might add no other manufacturer can match that.....
  16. Just a quick thank-you Simon and the team for a fantastic weekend, brilliant flyin and a great turn out of pilots ,very much appreciated, never seen so many pilots take off like that before, and all done very safely, amazing time. Geoffw . ps amazing amount of money for the charity to boot, well sorted Simon.
  17. I think this relates to the nitro200 , just been reading a post about Bailey, and that the development has stopped, Bailey have been around for many years now ,and let me tell you if Bailey had got that four stroke sorted we would all be flying Baileys, there are 3 reasons why we are not,( 1 ) weight you do have to be able to move your motor around pick it up place it on your back and run with it. that's why I love my nitro 200, (2) power ,that's why pilots love there mosters ,and nito 200s and (3) cost/price difficult one this , if there was a perfect motor for the job out there we would get the money from somewhere, but it has to be in the ball park, if moneys no problem nice R 22 or maybe cesena 172 very nice but the price, you get what I mean. Paramotors are very expensive for what you get and not that reliable, and that includes Bailey. So thats where two stroke fit in , (1) light (2) power (3) cost, but with out some reliability you have nothing. The nitro 200 allows me to continue to Paramotor at 66 years old, its so light, powerful, reliable,,, But it is a two stroke!!!!! And I love it.
  18. No problem Terry, good luck with your training you will not regret it,
  19. Hi Terry sorry mate insurance is though AXA Versicherung AG in Austria easy to setup, only place at the moment for 3rd party paramotoring insurance, not sure about a trke/quad,but they need your wing and serial number ,email them there so helpful. PS Did have insurance through the club but they stop offering the service not sure why.
  20. Hi Terry cost of insurance is about £140 wouldn't fly with out it,and I would mention it to your insurance company some times there can be a small charge but they will need to know for you to be covered.
  21. Oh yeah, if I know the council it costs £28,000 to put a litter bin in the park.
  22. Yes AXA they make is so easy to setup 10/10 for service. Never made a claim though. but a must have.......
  23. Wouldn't fly without insurance,as paraflyer said it can cost you everything. One other reason its so easy and quick to get/setup, go get your insurance you will not regret it.
