  2. This looks to have some good info http://www.ojovolador.com/ppg/tables/standard.html I wieght 76kg so fall into the standard class on that site, most of the recomended motors use either an 80cc or 100cc engine, will this size engine give me some worthwhile performance, or would something like a 120 be better?

    handheld GPS

Thanks for the reply guys, I have already got a pretty good working knowledge when it comes to navigation, although I would by no means call myself an expert and theres always more to learn, I posted the link because I saw them on ebay and wondered if they were suitable for our sport as I had not seen them mentioned anywhere on the forum and they seemed to be quite cheap for what they offered. cheers, Dave.

  12. does the RAD MXL come with a high or low hang point harness?
  13. as a student who has just started out I think I could ad to this thread. I first made contact with the instructer concerned through this site, he PMed me his number and i gave him a call, he was polite, well informed and told me exactly what i wanted to know without any baffling jargon or BS. when i went to his training site I was greeted and shown around the equipment in a profesional manner, we( he has 3 other students) were then treated to a couple of hours of ground handling, the tuition was spot on, he never missed an oportunity to explain different situations to us in a clear and presice manner, he encouraged us when we got it right and explain what we were doing wrong without ever being conderscending, all in all i cant fault his tuition, enthusiasm and professional approach. The question is: should I name him? or will he need to ordering a bigger flying helmet after reading this
  14. Hello, is it posible to change a harness from a high hang point version to a lowhang point version, is it a case of just changing the harness or are the frames different? Thanks.

    Parajet

I have been surfing the net and reading all I can on paramotors, on my travels I came across the parajet range, reading the manufacturers blurb was impressive, but I guess it would not be anything else, from the reviews I have found of this range 90% seem very positive, as a "new generation" of paramotors I would like to ask, just how good are they compared with the earlier motors form other manufacturers? anyone on this forum fly these and do they have any issues with them, they seem well biult and well thought out. Cheers, Dave.
