  1. Selling on FB Marketplace: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1136814733938867/
  2. Wing and reserve (never been thrown) bought in 2018. Both been checked out by Aerofix.....I literally have not had the kit couriered back yet from them (21/9/22). I have the report - all 'Very Good' which I can supply on request. Wing has max 10-15 hours. Patramotor - circa 80 hours.....will confirm later. exhaust rings / springs done 20 hours ago. No cracking on exhaust. Carbon shroud. The frame is a bit worst for wear and has a crack / split in it which I think was done by the removals guys when it went into storage...certainly was not done through a bad landing etc. Engine is a peach. Photos can be supplied upon request to graham.tyrie@hotmail.co.uk or 07967 006440. Looking for £1700 for wing £300 for reserve Paramotor £2k. I am willing to split the sale. There is no movement on the wing/reserve (cost me over £250 for Aerofix service) May be a bit of wiggle on the paramotor. Graham (Eddie) B21057.pdf
  3. Ignore me if I'm missing something here, but if the SIV is tailored for paramotoring, but you do not use a paramotor, then you may not be able to simulate unstable situations in flight that you may find when paramotoring.....??
  4. Hi, I'm sorting out my finances, and am looking to take up income protection/critical illness cover. Some insurers do provide policies, but only if I am a member of a recognised professional body.. For paragliding, I am a (lapsed) member of the BHPA so no problem there, but for paramotoring, although I am a member of this site, is the paramotor club recognised with insurers - i'n not talking just 3rd party insurance here. Thanks. Eddie
  5. ...in that case they are hardly going to 'fess up then and dob themselves in:-)
  6. ...this pilot is navigating using the stars! Who is he/she - flying over Worcester/St Johns at 21.20 tonight?! Don't know why I took a picture and posted it as it does not highlight how dark it was getting or even show sufficient detail to identity the pilot but hey ho:-) Eddie
  7. Correct! Just like the Caspian Sea Monster; https://youtu.be/V8Nu94khHoo ...or he (like me in his situation) has not got the balls to fly it higher:-)
  8. Top man - don't want to end down a dead end with insurance just because I am not a BHPA member.....................:-)
  9. Hi, So if I am a BHPA paraglider Club Pilot (relapsed but none the less I can pay my dues and get third party insurance), then 'technically' I don't need to be signed-off (complete 'formal' PMC training syllabus) to gain 3rd party insurance as my BHPA membership will cover it? With that in mind, there is 'technically' no reason why I can not just go out and by a motor and fly as long as I fulfil my moral obligation to ensure I have 3rd party cover? Eddie
  10. Hi all, Can anyone tell me whether the Nitro XL will take a smaller blade/cage? I had a brief email chat with a guy from custom air but he did not make it clear either way as we were also talking about clutch on the XL also which confused the issue. I would like to be able to have the option of either/or as far as blades are concerned (yes I know I will need to purchase 2 cages also). I would like to gain experience on the smaller blade then upgrade when I see fit. Is there anywhere I can test-flight both of them? Ed
  11. ^^^^For someone who has been on this Earth for 62 years, you still can't spot a Chisler?!^^^^
  12. Thanks for that <<thumbs up>>
  13. I'll be interested in keeping contact with you guys - based in Worcester (St. Johns) and will probably be moving to Bromsgrove in near future. I have added my location on members map - as I looked at it there does not appear to be any restrictions in place as appear to be in-between flight corridors??? Eddie
  14. Hi all, Noob looking to transition from paragliding to motor paragliding - so I thought I would introduce myself and say 'Hi'! I have training dates booked in with Simon W in July, but there is one question that I have not asked him, which would be useful to ask here for other pilots who may be in a similar situation to me and have the same question:-) I have a BHPA paraglider Club Pilot's licence, and I understand that you have the APPI PPG licence, do I need to hold a PPG licence also, and if so can I gain my PPG licence by 'equivalence' as I hold a PG Club Pilot licence? i.e. do I need to pass exams for PPG or is instructor led PPG instruction enough to satisfy? I'm not entirely sure that all that makes sense?! Regards Ed
