  1. You did mention these before: Posted: Fri Feb 01, 2008 8:45 pm Post subject: Cobra MT800 (a pair for 23 quid from Costco including charger) and a pair of Firefox Extreme throatmikes. No engine noise, no wind noise, clear speech. Fine for a pair of paramotors flying within a couple of kilometers or more. Is there a big different between the two.......
  2. Another easy way to do this is go to Asda Online. You upload your photos and then can pick from Calendars to mugs. I done a calendar of my dog and it look really good - all for 14.99
  3. Sounds good for me. Not sure about climbing around a herc thou!!

    Sleeping bags.

I'm would prefer to have shared transport (good team gathering exercise) from Simon's place - if not will drive down. See you all there chaps. Tony
  5. WELL DONE - Togsie I bet when I saw you on the hill on Saturday you never dreamt that you will be flying within 3 days. Well done again and hope to see you in the air at the end of March. Tony
  6. Panic - As long as I’m not dangling from one – I won’t be. I am just after some start times so I can look forward to it – No really, time is tight, because I will be on holiday 3 days after!!!
  7. Simon – Have you any information for the Dartmoor trip – Meeting times etc. Tony
  8. WELL DONE - Great news. - can't wait for the training blog. All the effort you put in was well worth it now.... Roll on March for my turn now... Hope to see you flying next weekend then.

If you’re on the forum Darrell (The Channel) – Well done and welcome. Tony F
  11. I would volunteer, but for some slight problems: Not flying yet! (But doing plenty of weekend walking) Do not have a N70 or N95. Being a techy person I would only ask once a day NO problem.
  12. I am guessing that the 17% self taught are the older ones (not age) of the poll and the instructional lead figures are more current. Being that paramotoring/schools is getting more publicized.
  13. Just buying a Tip2Tip T-shirt and coffee mug. Will a photo of us wearing one and drinking from a mug TREKKING IN NEPAL be a good candidate for the TV?
  14. A agree. I've had a Mio 168 for a good number of years now with built in GPS. It also runs Memory Map; Co-Pilot Live; GPSDash2 and the normal Microsoft CE Office type problems - love it.
  15. Stu I've seen your videos on the other forum, which you superimposed the GPSDash2 dials on. For a newbie, I was very impressed watching the video; height and speed all at the same time. It would be great if you can place a link on this forum too. Tony
  16. Just a thought..... Simon Has anybody thought about contacting 'Richard Hammond' from Top Gear. Might be good for the press and TV if he turns up! Tony
  17. A - Nothing wrong with the old Army NI Gloves
  18. I hope to use Dash2 'when' up and flying - have been playing around with it on the ground and looks very good. Having the maps too would be even better!
  19. No problems there. You’re giving me a guilty complexion here……………… Just thought, the same person will get a T-Shirt for donating £10 or flying three legs – does not seem correct. And this is coming from a none flyer..
  20. Simon When you mention 'Pilot' T-Shirt will that include the pilots who will be flying a leg or three, Or just the lucky 6 doing the complete course?
  21. To follow on from this - would it be a good idea to put the 'forum founders' name on the header of the regional club. So if the person is off line, or a newbie they can post a message or PM them? Tony
  22. Simon Ok, Cheers. Just a general question from a techey person. Nice idea - not too much status, I hope
  23. General observation question: Why do some registered users appear bold when online?
