  1. newbies may ask.. How does the 500ft rule work when flying with others? example...like a gaggle of paragliders in a thermal ? Paul
  2. This is something AXA insured pilots need to clarify. I have been informed that the AXA insurance covers the wing and what is attached to it, It only covers impact/contact. I have it in an email from AXA that an accident resulting in a Horse being spooked by a Paramotor or something falling off as it is not a contact accident they would not defend a claim. Im not saying that the BHPA would pay out, but im pretty sure that would act on behalf of the BHPA Pilot . Im interested in what this NEW Paramotor Insurance has to offer. (Instructors, coaches, Tandems etc) Cheers Simon Paul
  3. Taken from a Facebook Page... Following this weekends PMC paramotor fly in i would like to thank the majority of pilots for respecting air law and the restricted areas not to fly over. To the minority who i spent yesterday dealing with the police and fuming farmers and other local residents you are the reason the PMC will not be holding another fly in from this same venue. Why with such beautiful open countryside to explore do you have to fly round and round the same field for hours on end just upsetting the local community !!! I am packing the van for the fly-in! ......... for the last time

  8. Pianoman If you form your own BHPA Paramotor Club you will get full support from the BHPA as well as your liability Insurances. If you want to read stuff in skywings about Paramotoring, Paramotor Pilots have to write stuff. Articles about Insurance, Repacks, coaching and punchy spring thermals probably don't contain the word Paramotoring but they are all relevant to Paramotor Pilots. or is it just pictures you want to look at? 9. a very good question Clive. Simon I flew the Airwave under power in my early days, but I would not recommend it to train with. Before I flew a Paramotor I had been paragliding for over 5 years so I knew what to expect from a wing when things start to go a bit funny. But can you ask these questions to someone whos going to sell you the kit and offer you some sort of Training? Have you looked into Training with a school on their kit before you even think of investing? Fly before you Buy Paul
  10. Hi Have you purchased the Airwave Sport Yet ? I have an Airwave sport (L) thats my free flying wing and the manual states its not suitable for Motorized Flight. I have the Sport 1 but I have checked all the Sport Manuals up to the Sport 5 and they all say the Same NOT SUITABLE FOR MOTORIZED FLIGHT. My Paramotor wings are Dudek Enjoy & Be Safe Paul

  15. take a look a the Bulldog, the starter cord/bungee is held secure with a magnet to the harness, ive never had that issue, the starter cord is always there in place ready for mid air restarts. Its a simple fix .speak to Clive @ Bulldog Paramotors.
