Evening all,I had my 5th flight on sunday around banbury area,it was absolutley amazing,we had two buzzards fly with us for about 2mins,could'nt beleive what i was seeing! Then there was two other paramotor pilots in the distance which one came over for a flyby(hello if your on here!) As the sucject states i cant make up my mind as to whether i prefer the hard plastic rods inside my brake handles(reaction) or not,i seem to being swaying to the 'fly without' scenario! anyone else have any thoughts? also ive tested (on the ground) to see if they would fit through the netting of my motor without rods in but i would have to physically squeeze them through first! As with the flying it seems to have more feedback etc as to the wings movements. gaz

Evening all, I just ordered the flytec 6005 vario,seems a good choice for the money and my low level of experience,look forward to trying it! Also bought the garmin emap(new) off ebay and was wondering if its quite easy to download airmaps to it? My friend has it but im not that good on the old pc Anyone done similar sort of thing gaz

Well what can i say! This sport is unreal,i love it! had my second flight yesterday over banbury area was up for about an hour,amazing views and went up to 800 agl,thermals picked up abit so we came in! Got my new helmet/headset today so looking forward to trying it out at the wkend(weather permitting!) happy flying gaz

no arguments like other forums(ahem)!!! Who flys in the bedfordshire area? gaz

There was just one question that i'd like to see peoples views on,do you have your leg straps tight or slightly loose? I did have abit of an effort trying to get into seat whilst up there! There must be a favourable way in doing this without too much hassle

Hello to everyone ,Ive finally managed to log on after 2 weeks! computer has been on a no go!! Im just starting paramotoring after buying my gear 3 mths ago(sold the bike and always wanted to do this) weather seems to be getting the better of me at the mo! I have a dudek reaction and pap ros,been doing a fair bit of ground handling when the weather has been calm. Ive read all the posts on this site and must admit its one of the most helpful sites ive come across,especially the training blogs(well done!) will be good to get to know a few peeps along my learning process! have fun Gaz
