The autofocus mechanism became intermittent on my phone, not a problem for distance but no good for sub 3ft stuff. I noticed it when I tried taking a pic of a document, the focussing square appeared but the pic remained blurred. Usually it will focus down to about 3 inches. I ended up having the phone replaced. I,m tempted to think this will become a common fault. Anyone else had or noticed this?

...but it does get harder to suck the higher it has to go, still I agree that the 2 foot or so from the bottom of the tank to the carb is a long way short of 33 ft. I wonder how high a typical motor could pull fuel before it started struggling.

Didnt see the bubbles bit, must pay more attention.

Now listen to me... I used to have a rad that did the same thing, I believed it was because there is a limit as to how high fuel can be sucked for proper fuel flow. I may be wrong in this case but there is certainly a height that a vacuum would form in the closed end of tube filled with petrol or any other liquid.

Yep, you will see in the grid that whatever gift comes up there are several duplicate gifts on different numbers, doubtless the formular can only give the same limited numbers - took a while though.

Whats needed is a site that can only be accessed by air, so that it would be a real fly-in. Even if you could drive to within a few miles and had to fly the rest of the way. A real adventure knowing that you would have to fly out or be stuck there.

Baby wipes, used them last week when I got my wing a bit muddy. They,ll clean anything.

If its not too cold..

Just whip off the 2 nuts holding the reduction drive to the engine and pull the drive away, no dangers and all will be revealled. Nothing will fall out/leak, if it does then thats why your clutch is dragging (assuming your tickover isnt too high).

Gripping stuff. I was amazed at her flying again soon after but couldnt help thinking of a new "twitching" experience she must have felt when next she hit lift..

Mat, I have a Pap top 80 and manage to start it ok with left hand if already warm. I used to think about the bungee cord loop mod but found it unnecessary when I found that a good "snatch" pull works albeit with 2 hands when cold.
Cheers

He is more annoying than usual for me as I bought a Nucleon last week. Fortunately I tested it last Sunday and although it was for just 10 minutes it seems great.

I have owned for six years and been aware of many rad faults but never heard of a cracked cylinder head, indeed, the head and barrel are the same casting. It is however usual to get an oil build-up in the head area due to the action of the decompressor.

Red wings are like green cars - unlucky. Actually this vid was discussed recently, I think it was concluded as too much break/too much power/being videod!

What might have caused the wind shear please Alan? I just want to know how not to have that happen to me - or anyone else.

I would say that he flew through his own wake but also a low angle of attack also contributed. Hope it becomes known though.

Looks like it started off as a chair and grew a cage

What time will people be there today and will there be some sort of sign from maybe the village directing us to the field?
Cheers

I'd love to have one, no practical use but just a cool thing to 'roll' in.
Emergency stops would be fun though!
Or sudden steep hills!
