  1. The autofocus mechanism became intermittent on my phone, not a problem for distance but no good for sub 3ft stuff. I noticed it when I tried taking a pic of a document, the focussing square appeared but the pic remained blurred. Usually it will focus down to about 3 inches. I ended up having the phone replaced. I,m tempted to think this will become a common fault. Anyone else had or noticed this?

  2. ...but it does get harder to suck the higher it has to go, still I agree that the 2 foot or so from the bottom of the tank to the carb is a long way short of 33 ft. I wonder how high a typical motor could pull fuel before it started struggling.

  3. Now listen to me... I used to have a rad that did the same thing, I believed it was because there is a limit as to how high fuel can be sucked for proper fuel flow. I may be wrong in this case but there is certainly a height that a vacuum would form in the closed end of tube filled with petrol or any other liquid.

  4. Just whip off the 2 nuts holding the reduction drive to the engine and pull the drive away, no dangers and all will be revealled. Nothing will fall out/leak, if it does then thats why your clutch is dragging (assuming your tickover isnt too high).

  5. I have owned for six years and been aware of many rad faults but never heard of a cracked cylinder head, indeed, the head and barrel are the same casting. It is however usual to get an oil build-up in the head area due to the action of the decompressor.
