seymore Posted September 19, 2013 Share Posted September 19, 2013 This brings back memories for me from the 90,s when I used to fly around the Knik Glacier in light aircraft landing at the strip near the glacier, doing loops and rolls high up in my Luscombe, and a few times shutting off the engine, stopping the prop and gliding the ridges. I had to put the plane into a 120 mph nose dive to restart the engine as It had no electrical system .
