As it turns out- not a paramotor, but a Powered Parachute.

Laws for PPCs are same as microlights in Republic, even for flying a paramotor you need an exemption certificate from the IAA.

This guy has grounds for prosecution on many counts.

A lesson for all.

Which is kind of what I did.

I still have a Parajet built quad ready to go but am doing my NPPL in a 3 axis microlight which was less money than the FB set up to buy.
