morgy Posted July 3, 2010 Share Posted July 3, 2010 I was driving along the A27 on friday afternoon and saw this odd cloud formation... can anyone tell me what type of cloud it is or the reason for it... helimed01 Posted July 9, 2010 Share Posted July 9, 2010 Hi Here is a web based society (Cloud Appreciation Society) that Norman put us on to a couple of years ago http://cloudappreciationsociety.org/ If you send the pics to them with details of where it was what time of day they will tell you the type of cloud. The Society have come on in leaps and bounds the past year or so. It costs a fiver to join which covers admin costs. They have now produced a cloud guide. regards Whitters.
