edwardc
It would appear that when I had my 'mishap' a part of the propellor must have gone through the wing as the pictures show: I have the repair kit that came with the wing and the damage is on the tail almost central. The outside braiding is intact but it will be difficult to stick the patch (tape) near it! Would it be okay to repair or best to send it to the loft or Aerofix? Opinions please Cheers Eddie

edwardc
Thanks for the advice guys, I will take heed and sort it out. Aerofix seems to be the popular choice so I will ring them. Thanks again Eddie
gordon_dunn
Right decision Edward... If there's any doubt, there's no doubt- send it off. You may only see the visible damage- peace of mind costs very little, and they'll do a full inspection for you while they're at it. Guest
I think Aerofix are the PMC prefered supplier to be honest. Which gives me an idea.... PMC Prefered Supplier list, based on feedback from the members. SW
jonnorton
I would have thought that a company listed as a 'preferred supplier' would be willing to give a member discount too Jon
Guest
To be honest, it is unlikely. I have spoken to them and the 'problem' if you can call it that is they are already nice and busy and a small business. I think they win on service listening to people here, and I have to say I have had great servicce from then also. Preferd supplier list would be more so that people dont send props of for 6 weeks + and so on.... SW
edwardc
Sent wing to Aerofix Friday by carrier. Phoned today to say they have replaced the half section of wing and I will get it back tomorrow. £70 plus £12 carriage. Can service get any better?
