When the engine first stopped his landing options were almost nil; I would have headed for the water to save life below but the pilot froze and just headed streight and was going to crash wherever. Luckily they got an extra burst from the engine which gave them extra time. Thats luckily for the inocent people below. So much for height to glide clear etc. Whitters. SW at the start of the clip it sounds like they are giving it a handfull of throttle, maybe they were climbing out after take off Dave.
