frazer1981
These things look awesome but seem a bit pricey??!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Thunderbolt-new-P ... 240%3A1318
Phil_P
I'm tempted to buy one of these; http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-BlackJetPilot ... 240%3A1318 and kit it out with some comms gear myself. Whilst I know they won't have certification yaddayadda.... we only expect our lids to protect us from a few knocks when we get dragged or have a dodgy landing, not high energy stuff like a m'cycle lid. Lets face it, most push bike helmets are probably better than we need. In fact looking at the two helmets, you could almost think the source was the same. pete_b
Be very caefull there has been a lot of people having trouble with items like this from germany. If you look at the feedbadck its not very good. In my opinion leave well alone. Pete b

They are a bunch of conning, robbing barstewards with bad reputation on every paragliding/motoring forum I've found (after I tried to buy a lid from them). pete_b
There you go then buy from a company in this country. If it all goes wrong then at least you dont have to go abroad to grab the owner by the throat and demand your money back Pete b
Phil_P
I'd trust a Hong Kong/Chinese vendor over a European one most days. Had nothing but 110% customer service from all I've dealt with.
gordon_dunn
In my opinion/experience...... buy quality, airsports and CE rated, compatible and certified with all major radios (Icom/Airband)- you'll only have to buy once.- Microavionics- http://www.microavionics.co.uk/

I have one of those in silver, the biuld quality is outstanding, I cant fault it, from the strong glass fibre shell to the fully adjustable inner real leather lining, I am going to by some comms and fit it out, where your ears are they have a nice place to put some small speakers, I would definately recomend one to anybody.
