gordon_dunn
This year i've managed 96 hours flying so far, hope fully i'll get over the 100 this year for the first time. Last year got 95 hours in total. Not bad for 54degrees north, and Irish weather, and working full time Mon-Fri-9to 5..... GD

gordon_dunn
Sad thing about it..... i'm still not getting enough... you'd think anyone would be happy with averaging 100 hours per year... Anyone got a number for 'Paramotors anonymous'?

alan_k
Hi folks, I finished my training early this year and have done 12 hours this year. That has been spread over 30 flights, so you can see some have been quite short. They still give the big adrenalin buzz though . One short one was to boost confidence after a series of failed launches on the previous visit to the field, it certainly works when you nail the T/O and landing. Another was finding the air a bit thermic for my tastse, still 6 minutes and a good buzz. One flight I just couldn't get comfortable in the harness so landed after 8 minutes. A couple were cut short after finding the visibility was not brilliant. I'd rather be in one piece that spread across the country by something that didn't see me. Earlier in the year I went up the field after seeing a pilot heading that way, and had a limited chat once he had landed. My french isn't that good . He told me he had trente mille (30,000 ) hours experience but I did't get to discover on what. He was certainly very enthusiastic about paramotoring with his RAD. I can only guess he was a retired professional pilot. SaFeLY does it, Alan ____________ Fresh Breeze Airboss, Trekking Civic
