Emmett Lee Blankenship
I have a 3 year old nitro 200 that decided to quit on me a month ago. No apparent reason, it just stopped working. First thing I did was change the fuel and flush the lines. Checked all hoses and clamps, inspected the carburetor, verified the vacuum hose as not leaking, made sure the exhaust was not clogged, changed the spark plug and verified it was getting a spark, changed the coil out (and again verified a spark to the plug), cylinder pressure is at 115psi, inspected cylinder, and verified the kill switch as not on. What do you think I might be missing?
Pete S
Is the spark plug wet after your start attempts? ie. is fuel getting past the carb, if not the carb would be a good place to start looking.
admin (Simon W)
You have spark You have compression Things that still need confirming: Air, and Fuel. (which as above, would suggest looking back at the carb) Maybe consider a rebuild kit (inexpensive) and an ultrasonic clean then go from there. Good luck! And Welcome to the Paramotor Club. Pete S
I use Skybound Aviation, I believe you carb is a Walbro WB37, they supply repair kits. Best to get a dealer to rebuild the carb if you are not familiar with the procedure.
