Capotec2015
Hi, I was wondering if there was another way to empty fuel tank -other than just run it dry. Mine's a Kobra/polini with the tank secured by what looks like 3 allen bolts -2 top 1 bottom - has a breather pipe and usual fuel line with squeeze bulb. If I had to empty it out - take bolts out -disconnect fuel line etc? Apologies if it sounds like a daft question...
chewi
Hi Capotec2015 I bought a syphon from Halford think it was only £3:99 was abit slow but does the job ok better than taking tank off
Steve
Lots of options from jiggle syphon tubes (eg, https://www.amazon.co.uk/JIGGLE-SYPHON-DRAINER-EXTRACTOR-SOLVENTS/dp/B00BBVQURE) to electric pumps (eg, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222210324370). AndyB
Or have a priming tube that also works as a vent for the tank - just turn upside down.
