hi the tank is the standard dk wispher that was fitted to the dk paramotor,ive just fired mine up i knew the prop was out of balance but the vibration was lots so new prop needed,the carb didnt leak since i used a rubber hose between the engine/carb.the engine sounded great lots of power,i will get proper rubber engine mounts as well.it ticks over perfect and is very responsive on the throttle,,does anyone know if the parajet 3blade props have the same bolt holes as the dk wispher as parajet sold the dk ppgs..

yes its the nippers room took the pic while the wife was out,i will try it on my pg wing skywalk cayenne im at the top end of the weight when i free fly.will also try it on a tandum wing that i should have this week.plus my mate has a action 29 i can try , the tandum will have lots of lift if i have probs with mine..one way or the other i will get airbourne..

finished puting the carb/pump on.just waiting to get the dk harness back with new zip,then maiden flight 2nd atempt,its very light will weight it when harness is on.it will be easy to ajust the carb in flight,dont know why i think that..i was going to put a plate on the airfilter so i can put a cup of tea on it looks perfect place for a cup,,

pluse pump came 2day even found some rubber washers to mount it on,do u think i need to fit a hand pump as well..

if ur light its very cheap,he has put a lot of hrs/info into making if,good for low level 15-20min of fun,or if it gets u up 2. 500/plus ft it would be a good thermal training machine.

this is how it will sit in the frame,i have some strong exhaust strap that i will bed the engine on,it will take the vibration its 25m thick i think it will work.will have exhaust cut and silencer on 2morro,looking good,,,i dont know about the welds might crack,im cracked/////

pete has indeed hit the nail simon, the engine is not bolted in yet,i need the reduction plate and prop before i can center the engine,thats the bottom pulley in the pic the center of the top pulley should be in the middle of the cage when i fit it.theres not a lot of room in the dk frame for the prop.so it needs to be spot on.ive aloud for rubber spacers to raise the engine even though i didnt get any vibration in the other frame and that was with no rubber mounts. whats all this talk about rubber///// its going to look tasty in this frame...

Got the dk frame back.engine mount on.have to wait till i get the prop back before i mount engine.some small probs to sort out=fit carb so it missus the frame tube.re route the exhaust..looking at the weather looks like ive got plenty of time to sort it....

yes i cant wait to fly it .performance fig will be based on getting this 90kg of lard up 2, 1000ft. .going to get the other few bits i need in the week..

the gy6 engine £546 brand new u could even buy the complete scooter for a few hundred more.ride around on it till you have the money for the bigbore kit etc.santa where r u//////

i forgot to get a silencer,ive just cut my exhaust pipe to turn it round so it goes over the engine between the old fuel tank brackets,will get silencer.im thinking of getting some parajet scimitar 3 blade props if mine dont last when i get it back, new tips being put on it,hope to get it finished next week not that the weather looks anygood.what size is ur prop.the billet flywheel is a must,as the standard honda one can blow big time due to the high revs do u have a tiny tach..

Great did u fit kit 10.what prop r u using,i can get u the redrive plate £50 u need to source pulleys, wait til u put the prop on the thurst is from go to peak power.all good fun.im going to get one of those 175 scooter engines next project.will ask axb how much there frame is as it will have the mounts already on.i will see what can be done to tune the motor.i wish i could tig weld...

Ive done a bit of info searching.the 175cc piaggo 4 stroke engine is was a honda gy6 engine.honda no longer make it as its been cloned the world over suprise-suprise. even the clone been cloned//its a cracking little motor can rev to over 12000 lots of tune up bits for it.i shall be looking to source one soon to see what i can get from it power wise plenty in the breakers..abx have a gem on there hands esp at the price..got to fin/my clone gx first. the gy6 started out as 150cc bored out to 175cc.i have to get one to see way abx left the gearbox in, i would remove the gears plug the holes to save a fair bit of weight,,mind u at under £3000 it a winner i think...£10.000 seems a lot dave but we dont know what it involved.. ///its a clone world///

i get the dk frame back fri with the new mounts on.so will be ready for maiden flight when the weather gets better,there a chap in america with a tuned gx390= 16hp 420cc 30hp kit fitted chucking out 200ilbs thurst on the dyno,he hopes to fly it on a trike this w/end gx360 dry weight 35kg to heavy for foot launch perfect for trike..u could get a gx390 down to 25kg still a bit heavy,,

my mate is welding the engine mounts on the dk this week.should have got it done in the first place.would have saved the prop,

Not sure if he got all the t/o got low level flying i will get him to upload it...

went to the feild bob and mike there, nice to meet u mike.ah well got ready pulled wing up turned to run, the wing dropped back enough for the lines to land on the plastic hoop outer ring and snap it went taking more of the prop.im getting good at this prop smashing thing.the motor ran well though.time to fit it in the dk frame,shoulnt have used the test frame.had a nice run across the feild with bobs aventure though im to heay to get of the ground with that..bob made it look easy in the nil wind very nice take off,he had a play around for a while.lovely looking custom-air frame..bob got a bit of vid of mike.the sky looked excelent blue and fluffy little thermic clouds all around...chapter 2 onwards//////
