est 12 psi. i had alot of problems with my carb settings .thus checking the color of the spark plug.after each flight to see how how its running.and thats what you can do..... but because i come from a mx back ground and know abit about engines. i decided to buy a brand new carb.and all my carb problems. went. it took ages for me to solve the problem. hope this helps.this is what worked for me.

hi beddo as you know i live in uk. near a place called chequers its where the british pm stays to chill out. i see by your name your a american.so do you live here in uk or usa? and you mentioned your flying.. that you have had 3 flights. that sets me back some years... flying like a bird. or flying like peter pan.iam in no hurry to grow .. up. flying is like life. always learning.... there be good.and bad... abit like the weather. i like the sunsets and i imagine iam on mars... its like a different world. mind you i have a very good imagination. while flying you will make mistakes... you will put the prop through the wing lines.you will fall over... you will not land on your legs etc just as long as you can walk away. youll fly another day... ill keep in touch fly safe beddo ;0) enjoy

hmm hi you mentioned youre about to start your training?. youve already bought a paramotor? so i ask myself.. how can someone choose a type of paramotor if they are not trained.? or did someone pick a paramotor for you? anyway. ask your instructor who will train you?.. my choose have a extra light reserve. the extra light reserves are light and compact= small. once youve passed your training.. and flown for est air hours then you and no one else can decide..and imagine its like wearing a seat belt for the first time it feels awkward... but after awhile youll feel uneasy without one. so my advise with the info you have asked. wear a extra lightweight reserve ;0) and once fully trained preflight checks. we are human and most accidents are pilot error. live and learn or learn and live

my advise.. iam a ex moto-x rider... and on the day of a mx race.. i buy high octane fuel then.and use the fuel. i do the same for paramotors. fresh fuel on the day.. and i already know paramotors arent race engines. the weather can have a effect too... hence why you should preflight checks.and if needed.. check the color of the spark plug... i went flying this sunday and as i started off to launch i noticed a blank in revs .. then those few secounds it was ok... ill be putting the video on this paramotor. video ...and youll be able to hear the blank in revs then its ok... didnt have time to check.. due to the dark nights that settle in quick... i may need to open the high screw on carb?. a tab. or run engine as is .see if it does it agian ... land then adjust... always run engine a tab rich. then keep checking color of spark plug now and then... then youll know engine is good to go ;0) my advise always use high octane fuel
