  1. Hi All

a novice tester is a bang on idea for the wings and kit put forward by the industry as " sutiable for a beginer ".

Some one in their first year of flying and stands down at the end of that year for the next novice. I think that would give a truer result than say a five year pilot testing it. As the more experianced pilot tends to almost auto correct as he launches , ground handles ect without really thinking about or noticing that he's doing so.

I would think the person who does this would get a huge amount of experiance from it.

    Just a thought...

    Cheers Col.....

  2. I havent tried any of those . I have a very smooth mid range on my adventure a3 with the 210 engine which i put down to it having a walbro 37 instead of the 32 fitted. Might be something to try before chopping /stuffing bits off/in the standard carb.

    Cheers Col.....

  3. Hi Nick,

If you give either The Loft or Areofix a call they may well be able to help you out either with the line lengths or supply new lines from their line diagram.

I havent used Aerofix but I have used The Loft and they have always been a great help good service as well.

  4. from what I've read I would say it has to be the decompression hole blocked. I'm sure you have but just to check you did clean both ends of the hole one with a 3mm drill bit and the other a 4mm bit cant remember of hand which is which but should be easy to tell.

    Best of luck.

  6. Hi Barry,

Outcast is right I am from your neck of the woods, Saltcoats to be exact. There are four of my mates who fly regular in the area two Saltcoats, one Ardrossan and one Kilmarnock based. If you drop me a PM with your contact details I'll pass it on. I'm sure they would be happy to talk flying with you and show you round their kit.

I think that they know of someone who is an instructor in the area so should be able to point you in the right direction.

    Cheers Col...

If you have a look at my photo album on this site there are some pics My mate took of me flying the coast between Saltcoats and Largs last year.
