  1. Tel me about it,begining to think i should never have got rid of the RAD,it didn,t help to here that tomarnold had a nice flight on his .wondering what other fate is about to befall me .i ducked this morning because i thought a mozketo was going to fly into my head and crack it open :P:P:cry:

    The starter ring has gone teeth worn missing .just getting to the bottom of my carb problems and now this

    and of course i doubt it will be stock item anymore .will phone pap uk tuesday anyone else had there,s go

YEA there is no question it must be getting past the cutoff valve il use a dummy header tank bean can or somthing i need to no for my own satisfaction .i noticed as the last of 2days fuel was making it,s way down the pickup pipe past the inline filter it came to rest when it got level with the center of the throat of the carb.if that aint takeing the piss il have another pay tmo

    its a new needle and seat and diaphrams and no pressure in the tank,i made sure of that. Its a mystery i even disconected the vacume pipe overnight .it must be the head of fuel operating against the resistance of the tension spring some how ,haveing said that i stretched it just as a trial .do you think there is another route fuel could take other than through the needle,i have chucked enough money at it but it is frustrating i can,t get to the bottom of it

  5. another forty quid latter gravity fed emptied contents of half a tank of fuel in back of van carb rebuilt by specialist who is also scratching his head tab is flush with suround all new parts .even stretched a spring because by now i have eight to choose from no residuall pressure from the tank and with the vacume pipe disconected wot the FU85030//;lmnCK is going on guy,s

  6. i am haveing a few problems with the engine not wanting to kill when the RPM is higher than tickover say 1200 rpm all the terminals have been cheked ,the only one i haven,t cheked is the stop button on the hand throttle wich is a sod to take apart,but will if i have to i.think i read on one of the postings something about if you have a tiny tac fitted this may be a possible cause ,can anybody throw any addvice my way

    someone posts the spec on the mikuni VM26 8637THATS BECAUSE I GOT ONE .now the holiday is over il get on with it .It wont take long if i can eliminate most of the guess work.i will keep the forum posted

  8. hi tim thanks for your comment.i don,t no what carb you have fitted i wouldnt have thought bubbles were to much of a issue providind the float chamber is full .MYqueery is choosing the right main jet.and wonderd if anyone has already got the spec for a slide type carb on a solo engine :(

  10. i,m looking to buy my first reflex wing,possibly a synth or revo2 with motor i am 92 kiloes excluding wing will a 23 meter be ok.i would prefer higher wing loading at the same time i am interested in the apco force it has a good write up and to have seen the promotional vidio .i am interested on an independent view of the apco force
