  2. Hi Dirtybirdg79

Just read your post, you might get a reply from Spigot because he was the guy who fixed mine,Yea you say you have not got issues with a low filter ,hope it stays that way, though it could be an early sign that the diaphram needs replacing that is what Spigot did to mine after that the fuel level came up and stayed up and it did tick over better ,so in my case it did need replacing, thank,s for the imput anyway:fail:

  3. Dose anyone have two break handles for a paraglider for sale without the rigid insert.I have the Apco Force and dont like the handles, they annoy me and only add to the bulk in my throttle hand . I like the two finger hook up method ,so one or two floppy handles with mag mounts are ideal, this of course will be in exchange for money.

  4. Anyone know if Top 80 do a flash starter,or has anyone done a mod ,or if anyone has tried to get one made. there are plenty of manufactures of small engines that fit them ,even Titan the makers of my elcheppo hedgecutter fit them ,if i draw a blanck might start ringing a few of them upand see what the response is. :coptor:

  5. Ok here we go.can anyone see a reason for not replacing the grease in the gearbox for oil.

i took mine apart and found that the cogs were badly worn they have to be replaced.the rear bearing was badley worn through lack of grease since most of the grease was stuck to the side of the gearbox ,and being as the rear bearing was not a sealed bearing it relied on the grease for lubrication only the front bearing has a seal.so i intend to replace it with a sealed unit thats both bearings taken care of.now all i have to do is choose the right oil to lubricate the gear cogs and right amount, this is all trial and error, and the cogs ay cheep .there is no level plug on this gearbox but if you ay loosing it you ay useing it lets see what happens

  6. Christian thank,s for that info will cheke that site the one in ierland i have heard of through Spigot but not found,Outcast you have never failed to rally to my call, thank,s for the past and present help.tomorrow a new dawn and something to go on.

  7. Would like to thank M.D.Spigot for the free health cheke on sunday,to spite my top 80 being diagnosed with a terminal illness.like the gearbox completley shot .question has anyone ever replaced the bearings on theres .Col sugessted if the casting was bored out then an oversize bearing could be fitted the inside diamiter remains the same .so any tip on removing the bearings would be welcome.this motor will no doubt end up on ebay and i know one person that wont be bidding for it,and has yet to get a phone call anyone got the link to the PAP parts

  8. Hi sy

I would like to take advantage of your health check.I have a slightly bent swingarm and would be happy for DR Borland or Dr Spigot to look at it.this is a recent perches, and not having a manual don,t help,my biggest concern is the prop centrafugal clutch carbon prop and when i spin it by hand it makes a noise the same as a marble rolling down a tube.also there is top play in the prop of about half an inch that would be a quater top and bottom anyway i will ring you to night to arrange a consultation :coptor:
