So im on the way back from the girlfriends flat in tadley last night and i went passed a van with a paramotor on the back . The van was parked up in a little layby. If its anyone from here get in touch so we could maybe fly together.

that is kind of cool . feel sorry for the pilot if it just came away from the aircraft with no prior warning . Did AAIB say anything when they picked it up ???

hi simon. yes im on about the aircadet sqn at abingdon. we have always called it raf abingdon for some reason whilst working at odiham. the boss is a very nice chap and does not want to cause a problem its just unfotunate that the caa and cgs were there.. pm me if you want to know more and ill give you my number .

Jim, I don't know if you can help. On Sunday 3 March a powered para sail lifted from a field close to Abingdon airfield it was identifiable by its union flag sail. It flew around the airfield at times within a few hundred metres of the boundary and between 300 and 400 ft in height. The problem is it was witnessed by CFS and CAA visitors. Both teams have had a sense of humour failure. The CAA are discussing involving the Police and taking legal action ? I will prevent this. If you know him what I want in future is for him to phone the VGS on prior to him lifting so that we both know what he is doing or I cannot protect him. Hope all well with you. bettin thats it due to the incursion, Aldermaston have been getting a little fidgety with a guy that flies overhead Tadley quite often which is well within the ZONE But they have not been able to catch him . Ive even seen it with my own eyes and have posted up before about it . Who ever it is Please stop breaking the rules .

Simon . Take a quick look at XC soar . I use it for Gliding and its great . Id suggest something similar But even more simple .

Hello .. Any of you guys out over basingstoke last night .

im big into it .. at present i have 5 aircraft, 1 tank 1 boat 1 Tamiya big rig . i like the challenge of building but like the driving and flying as well .

Ok Gents . A slight change of plan . Its been decided by the powers that be to run a group flying session on a saturday evening . get to odiham at about 4pm and fly until everyone has flown . We have 8 spaces available and its £45 for a 2000ft aerotow. Winch launches are extra if you fancy a go at that as well . A motor glider might be available Subject to Pilot availability for those not hardy enough to handle having no engine . April 21 May 19 June 9 June 23 June 30 the dates above are whats available as it stands as copied from my Club forum . talk between you and see if you can arange to come down on the same evening . thanks jim P.s 100kgs and 6'2 tall max please
