Ok .. So the interest is there .. Now what i wanna know is , What do you expect from/At the fly-in and do you fancy 1 or 2 days . Please i need idea's lets make it the best fly-in we can ,, Cheers jim

this guy just seems like a complete monkey . for someone who thinks he is the best with the best kit in the world I would be expecting only the highest standards . And safety to be the main priority. There are old pilots, and bold pilots. There are no old bold pilots....

Gents. Who would be interested in a Fly-in In Hampshire near Basingstoke or Odiham . Am looking at possible sites at the moment .. but am having trouble trying to find a sutable site . The alot of the land-owners dont seem to be to keen . Cheers Jim

I agree they cannot avoid everywhere but if they know paramotrs are operating in a certain area at a certain time then at least it gives a bit of warning to the flight crews and means they can keep there eyes open ..

Gents. If you guys are planning anouther flight like this. And like HAZE did, had an encounter with a Chinook Please let me know and i will inform Station Ops here at odiham of where you guys are likely to be taking off from and where your going to . Then at least they are aware of your precence and can look out for you . Even better if you can give me a rough idea of your track and turn points If you have any . All in the name of Flight safety . So i can plug in a Pmr like a Midland G7 and an Icom airband at the same time and they will be able to work just fine.

gents can a microavionics headset have two different types of radio connected or do they have to be the same . Obviously when using the optional second radio lead .. cheers jim

Hi Thanks for that. I filled out one of their forms today am just waiting to see what they come back with . I am just getting a feel for whats out there at the moment . Do you think joining the BhPA is worth it or not from what i have seen probably not .. What do you think . jim

Hi I met piers Dent the other week . I brought a Silex off of him as a first wing and its not bad at all im just ground handling at the moment but i can say it seems to be really good He wouldnt sell these to newcomers if they wernt right . he is a top notch bloke and will give you all the help you need and more .. thanks jim

HI Again . Just to let you all know that the police chopper is away from odiham for maintainence . meaning no helo in and out of Odiham for a week or so . i belive its back on the 21st march was the date mentioned to me . thanks Jim
