Woodypk Posted May 8, 2014 Share Posted May 8, 2014 Hey guys thought I'd sign up and say hello and ask the question that has been bugging me since I've been looking into starting my training. I've booked a taster day to try and get into this awesome sport and hopefully if I enjoy it which I think I will, I'll progress onto lessons. First of all. I've printed off all of the air rules and legislations but I can't for the life of me understand the air charts. I understand the air space classes but I don't understand where I can and can't fly. I don't understand where I can fly in my area ( Cleethorpes in Lincolsnhire) without drifting into a CTA or CTR ( humberside Airport is close to me! ). Everything else is slowly sinking in and I'm sure that after my training will be sunk solid. It's just this one thing I can't get to grips with and if anyone is willing to lend a few brain cells I'd be very appreciative. Thanks for reading this guys and I look forwards soooooo Much to be able to solo fly eventually and maybe meet some of you guys one day! Cheers guys! Tom.
