alan_k
I know this guy is on an Ozone Speedster but is he really getting over 3800 feet per min descent rate? See middle section of video: [youtubevideo] [/youtubevideo]Cheers, Alan
morgy
This i very possible, But he only does t for a short time so not 100% convinced. dan_p
Most I ever got was just shy of 3600 and the wing was pretty much nose down, I was trying to get used to the G in preperation for learning to SAT (which I bottled). Thought my eyes were going to get sucked into my skull. Looking at the angle of the wing I would estimate more like 2800. But theres so many variables involved its really hard to say. If he's read it off the vario post flight then the averager certainly wouldn't be 3800. Absolutely brilliant video though, what a lovely flight.
