shenzi3
Hi there is a possible ppg scam on ebay - matey is selling a package with an unfeasibly low starting price, also 0 rating - all info is cut and pasted and is in imperial measurements - ie. lbs, qts etc _ seems very similar to a scam I as taken on - also he only accepts a bank transfer (ALARM BELLS) - have asked a question to see if I can view.......let's see if he comes up with an excuse.......here's the link http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Paratoys-Foot ... 5b685ede0# happy flying

shenzi3
A few tips to spot a scam (I learnt the hard way) - probably teaching you guys to suck eggs but they are: BEWARE OF: MOBILE NUMBERS BEGINNING WITH +44 070 XXXX - these are 'follow me' numbers and look like UK mobiles but matey could be in Kazakhstan for all you know IF THE PRICE SEEMS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE - IT ALMOST CERTAINLY IS SELLER UNWILLING TO TALK ON PHONE SELLER UNWILLING TO LET YOU VIEW THE ITEM TECHNICAL SPECS THAT LOOK COPIED & PASTED USE OF INAPPROPRIATE UNITS - IE. IMPERIAL INSTEAD OF SI (UNLESS FROM USA) SELLER ONLY WANTS PAYMENT VIA BANK TRANSFER ANY PAYMENT INVOLVING WESTERN UNION, MONEYGRAM, ELECTRONIC TRANSFERS SELLER SUGGESTS USING AN ESCROW SERVICE ......and believe it or not, if you are selling equipment......agreement from buyer to take goods unseen, paying using PAYPAL - see link below www.scamwarners.com/forum Be careful and happy flying cheers shenzi3
