Radical
These designs without a cage and/or netting really worry me. The E Walk from Skywalk and the Razeebus look like becoming a commercial reality, but I fear that the paraglider guys just aren't listening and carnage awaits :- http://www.paraglidingforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=34780 This is one of those times I pray that I am proved wrong. Guest
I think it's a pointless idea. Any paramotor can be used as a take off device and then turned off. The justification is drag reduction. Not sure if that stops at the lack of a cage, maybe your arms, face, shoulder as well. Thus further reducing drag and all up weight. Imagine loose lines during that flight! My advice based on purely this picture. LEAVE WELL ALONE. SW
Guest
It also looks VERY high hang point, which in my limited experience of high hang point units, are 100% crap for thermal flying due to the lack of weight shift and feel. Heavy brakes will be needed for turning, thus wiping out any gain from low drag. SW
