norman
Looking at the way the World's went there is a reported drift in the ascendancy of the 'Trike'. Does anyone know what the state of play is with the beasties? I have always admired the Fresh Breeze 'Xcitor' and am wondering what it would take to get that, or others airborne from the Lambourn Flying Fields. Any fonts of knowledge out there to enlighten us? admin (Simon W)
The Requirments are Microlight licence with trike conversion (which you cant do in the UK I think) SW
norman
..... Which is the problem at the moment. But are they certified for UK operation.... assuming the pilot was licensed and converted?
Guest
Norman, I've flown the Xcitor. It's a nice example of what it is but frankly for the money there are much better flying machines out there. To me it seemed like being in a flexwing microlight but more expensive, less controllable and much slower. All the time that a license of some sort is required in the UK then frankly I don't see them catching on over here.
